Loulabelle: Love love love this place. Amazing Sunday roasts. Open fire during the cold months. Lovely terrace with great river views. Friendly staff. Great food and drink

Ed Woodcock: Gets very busy, but a lovely spacious pub right on the river. Lovely tables on a balcony with river views, or you can sit outside on a nice day. Food is quite good.

Chiswickians: Arrive early on a Sunday to avoid dissapointment if you wish to sample the Sunday Roast menu as it get's very busy! Worth it though, great food, great service and resonably priced!
HISTORY UK: This pub is named after the Maria Wood, an ornate steamboat used by the Lord Mayor for official occasions, built in 1816 and moored nearby. This pub also starred in the Beatles film Help!
