There's a huge unofficial dog park on the other side of the basketball courts. SO many dogs; it's awesome! The playground is decent, plus plenty of picnic tables. It's a HUGE park!

modern water feature for kids to play in during the summer months
Nice indoor basketball courts, and they run pick up on Wednesday and Friday nights every week around 6pm. The 12-3pm crowd on Wednesdays during the summer can be a bit exclusive, though.

So happy they kept the huge tree in the park after they reconstructed the park. I remember playing on that when I was a kid!

Large outdoor space that has everything for everyone! Soccer fields, baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball, and a great gated children's playground. Host to Local sport leagues.
Not too much crowd on weekdays specially early mornings good for walking your dog. 😊
Field is full of mounds and holes. A lot of leagues and soccer kids play here tho. City should compare nearby hospital emergency room bills with maintenance costs.
The basketball courts and the quality of the pickup games are better here than at Poinsettia Park.

Restroom complete spring 2013 - parking very limited b/c of popularity of 2 full-size basketball courts used mostly by adults - NO street parking (which is lame & poorly thought out PV / City of LA)
Parking is limited though, there are hardly any people here most of the time except for the few using the basketball courts & children's playground, which is huge!
3 bicycle parking rings to lock your bikes near restroom area. 2-in-1 water drinking fountain first basketball court, should you unfortunately run out. Dog poop bag/receptacles throughout park.
workout with a bunch of Soldiers usually every Friday morning at 6 at the basketball courts!

People there's a leash law for a reason!!! No need to get nasty when someone asks you to "please" put ur dog on a leash. It's for the safety of everyone at the park!!!

Basketball court isn't regulation and isn't wide enough to fit the whole three-point line. Corners are cut off.

The best place for run or exercises
Family spot! You are able to run, bring pets, kids have 2 playgrounds for toddlers and other for kids. They have also toddlers time everyday morning!
Buy an ice cream from Jose and he'll tell you where the geocache is.
