Get there before noon to claim a fire pit on the weekends. Skip the pay lot, you can usually find street parking.
This place is special because there are fire pits for bonfires, but you have to get there really early to claim one. If you're not there by 5pm, then cross your fingers that someone will share.

Central location. Parking is $$$. King sized beds are right width but short - I am 6' and my feet hang over. Very nice roof top with pool, fire pit, and great view. No fitness center onsite.

Johnnie's pastrami makes their own pickles & boasts a mostly-original staff (trust me, they've been around a while!) great burgers + fries! Sit outside in the back around the firepit. Cash only, ATM.
Best place to go for pastrami & the pickles go well with it. The only thing is that if you sit inside you'll feel every movement the person behind you is making but you can sit out by the fire pits.

Fantastic hotel! Fire pit tables on the terrace so even on a chilly night you can sit and look out over beach and pier while having a drink. Don't bother paying for the in room wifi, free in lobby/bar

Happy Hour ends at 7:00pm now. Not 8:00. The only reason we (used to) come here is for the late happy hour. Service is terrible. Food is bad. Try Shutters or Casa Del Mar.
