One of the better ways to enjoy a summer evening with fellow Madisonians. Set down a blanket at 3pm for a good seat. Then, come back later with a basket full of food & libations for the show!

Great venue for a concert
A surprisingly large venue. The beverages and snacks are reasonably priced and the variety of shows is strong. Parking can be tough, but you can use the United Way lot across the street.
Refill your beer cup for a buck off your beer.
The service is typically pretty surly, tell them what you need and get the hell out of the way.

You might have trouble finding it from the main road, but it's around the back. The venue is perfect size, you can literally be right in front of the band, it's very close and personal
Best place for a concert in Madison. Great lineup of shows, and outdoor events in the summer. Check out the upper level for a good view, and a shorter line at the bar and bathroom.
There are a lot of complaints about drink cost, so let's clear that up: This is not a bar. This is a music venue with a bar. The costs are comparable to other music venues. End of story.
Tip your bartenders. Generously.
