Very friendly staff, great happy hour deals, comfortable atmosphere. Fantastic place to go if you're downtown, but aren't looking for downtown prices and crowds. Great find!

Genuine (and excellent) New York bagels. The owner knows how to make them because he's from Long Island, arguably home to some of the best bagels in the country.

Try all GDane locations. Great beer and wings. Main menu is wonderful too. A must stop while in Madison.
Fresh brewed beer. Billiards without daiquiri stains. Food served on platters. No wonder the states mandate closing hours, or you’d never leave this place. Start with Peck’s Pilsner, go from there.
Ask for Dario. He makes the dirtiest drinks.
