Had tamale's, chicken taco, and horchata. Food was unique, not your typical Tex-mex, but it also wasn't great, just ok. The worst part was the lack of margaritas. No margaritas is a huge letdown.
Excelente! The fire caused major damage but remodel updated kitchen. Great food for little $. One thing I don't understand is why the gringos all get water brought to them but Latinos not, weird.

flaky chips, two good salsa options (but they seem a little stingy with the red). tostadas are beautiful and delicious! you can't go wrong with the taco trios.

I come to Madison once a year and always go to El Pastor. Their staff is super friendly and the food is always great.
On the weekends they sell tamales by the dozen. I have had tamales elsewhere and these are by far the best:)
This is THE best of the best!!! Anything you order will exceed your expectations! My favorite thing is the sopes with potatoes and sausage and lots of green salsa :)

No place like Pasqual's Cantina. Excellent SW food and the tequila selection is unparalleled. The staff is very helpful in helping you decide what to order. This is a comfortable spot.
