The waffles here are easily the best I have ever had by a wide margin. The baked oatmeal gets 5 stars also.

One of my favorite places to work in Madison. Small two-tops so it's cozy, but bright. They have yummy coffee and DELICIOUS sandwiches and waffles. Plus there's an outdoor patio.

Do not be a jackass and blame the waitstaff for the slow kitchen. The kitchen is tiny, the wait is longish when Mickey's is busy, and there's a sign that says so up front.
Top-notch dining and cocktails. We have tried most of the menu here and have no complaints. I recommend the ravioli, fried mushroom and waffles. Definitely grab the cookie skillet for dessert.
