Michelle Nicol: Zappa has a local hangout vibe with home cooked Italian Mama specials daily, and hot and happy staff swaying to maestro Michael's tune. Feels like home.
Sean Greaney: Best coffee in Australia, probably the Southern Hemisphere and the only reason 'World' wasn't referenced in this write up is fear that fellow FourSquarers might suspect hyperbole.
Tom Kinsman: Tell Ash you want your coffee no to be shit

Matt Muilenburg: Prepay for brekky when you check-in, it'll save you some $s. It's also one of the best breakfast buffets I've eaten, nearly as good as that offered at The Hotel Pulitzer in Amsterdam.
Sho' Nuff: Check-in under the pseudonym 'Chuck Norris' and get a handwritten welcome note from Megan.
Travellerspoint.com: Try the buffet breakfast at Melba restaurant. With a spread to satisfy the hungriest tummies and views across the Yarra River, this is a must-do in Melbourne. Also try: the chocolate fountain!
Rattanawan Rattakul: Most crunchy and beautiful roasted pear salad I've ever tasted. Two thumbs up, sorry no pic, just name. Try it you'll love it!
c0uP: The power points are ridiculously far from the bed; ask the front desk for an extension cord
Amanda Li: Park Hyatt Melb can be polarising. Some find the decor dated & prefer newer hotels like Crown. But I love the service, quality & attention to detail at Park. To me it's the best in Melb, hands down.

Marc Pérez: Eat in salad is a winner. Just right size(on the large end) and lots of great options to choose from. You can mix up to 3 in one serve
Alan: Even if you are eating in, order the takeaway box rather than an 'eat in' plate. You get more bang for your buck.
Paul Duffy: Great little cafe in St Kilda Rd. Great service and coffee. Plus sour dough toast! In winter try to get a seat near the gas heaters.
