This museum was built around the former Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated on April 4th 1968. Construction of the museum began in 1987 and opened in 1991.

My family enjoyed this zoo very much. Easy to walk around, great exhibits. Be sure to feed the giraffes if you can...very cool.

The theatre is old but preserved well and clean. The gift shop is reasonably priced too.
The theater was built in 1928 after the original Opera house burned down in 1923. The new Orpheum is said to be haunted by a girl named Mary who died in 1921. She is rumored to occupy seat C-5

One if the best bars in the city. Very chill bartenders and the food is amazingly good (not typical bar food). Check it out on a week day if you really want a good, local experience.
This is definitely a "bar" but the food is better than any bar food. Order the tomato soup... Best I've ever had. Sliders are good and the special pastas have always rocked!
