The view and the playground are great but the bathrooms are disgusting. No TP, soap, or paper towels. I expect a park in such an expensive neighborhood to have better facilities.

Their fresh lemonade with basil is amazing. The roasted turkey and cheese sandwich is delish. The picnic platter (appetizer) is good too.
Blue cheese & pear salad is fresh, w/ perfect amount of dressing. Picnic platter (a small size is perfect for two) & flatbread is also great. Efficient, helpful service & Chill, vintage atmosphere.

The other park is Virginia Key Beach North Point Park (formerly Virginia Key Beach Picnic are and something or other). Mt bike trails kayak and paddleboards rentals drinks bikes and lifeguards.
This spot has a calmer feel to it than South Beach. Nice views, breeze, and plenty of sun. Also known for visitors bringing their dogs. Plenty of runners & cyclists.

There are two fenced enclosures for pups big and small, but the park's spacious enough that lots of people also lounge in the grass with their unleashed pups alongside.
Big dogs on the left, little dogs on the right. Be sure to take your dog off the leash BEFORE you go in.
