The pita is fresh, great hummus, and love the pickles. BUT friendliness is not their thing! Atti-tude at the cashier. Oh well, just order and get out. Eggplant was well done, but not a lot of flavor.

Extensive menu with creative vegan food and a fun ambiance. The oyster mushroom app and pear dessert were memorable. Recommend the eggplant tenderloin, it’s rich and delicious and looks like steak.

If you have never had miso grilled black cod you must try it. I have never seen anyone not like it. Haru's bento box with miso grilled black cod and choice of sashimi or tempura is a delicious bargain
One of the best tasting eggplant parms I've ever had, East or West Coast. Next time I'll ask for extra eggplant, but the sauce & breading is a remarkable combo.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in L.A. Everything served explodes with flavor, and all flavor are meant to be there. Nothing is superfluous. Try the spicy fusilli and baby broccoli!
