I always order the corned beef and pastrami on rye with a kosher pickle on the side. Add a chocolate egg cream or a Newcastle to drink. Any baked good for dessert. Thank me later.

If in LA you have to go here! There is ALWAYS a line (even at 1am!) so be prepared! Get the Pastrami Dog with mustard onions and tomatoes. Sooo delicious! This is the place where LA gathers!!
Melt in your mouth good! So buttery and fatty. Fav brisket in all of LA. Spare ribs and pastrami were amazing too. A little on the salty side. Make sure to get the frito pie. Mac and beans were meh.

I prefer picking an exotic piece of fruit myself, however dangerous the circumstances, but the quality and selection of tastes here might be worth risking your life for as well, should it be crowded.

I come from NY and this place is average. Bagels are small and the egg sandwich had no taste. Their cream cheeses are good though.
