The hot dishes & daily specials are remarkable and the sandwich line is always the length of the place, but worth the wait. Not cheap, the portions are huge.
Finally get the hype for sandwiches. Best hot sandwiches I have ever had. Get the Sgt Sweet Pepper on a hero. It's off the menu.
If you enjoy being fat, have them keep the skin on the turkey. Perfection

After dinner, have a cocktail at my favorite place in Manhattan (its both opulent and modern). Highly recommend the risotto, truffle sliders, and afternoon tea. In the summer, sit on the balcony.

Really great NYC diner that treats you extremely well. Go for the Red Flame Omelette – ask for a side of grits, they know how to cook them.
