Eater: Go for the super-value tasting menu ($65), or choose from dishes like duck breast salad with figs, or the excellent off-menu burger; don’t miss the pairings from a seriously well-stocked cellar. Read more.
Adrienne st. aubin: FYI very tasty but not Italian
The Daily Sip: Corkage policy that encourages digging into your cellar: $25 for wines 2003 and younger and only $10 for wines 2002 and older.

Brad T: Open 6 mos at the time and an outstanding sushi experience. Bar for omakase, communal tables for both omakase and a la carte. Also an amazing sake menu with pairings.
George Joseph: Don't know why this place has such a low rating. The omakase was excellent!
Henna Abbas Merchant: Great Omakase. Definitely add the supplement. It’s worth the extra $$. Also, be sure to order some sake to pair.

kim garrison: Veggie korma = crack= heaven. You're welcome.
Paull Young: Good brekky spot, don’t worry the line moves pretty fast!
Travel + Leisure: Take a matzoh brei breather at this post-ironic Jewish deli where they brine their own pastrami and the walls are papered with fading Yiddish newsprint.
Thrillist: Aptly-named, the Deli Burger is ground beef w/ 'strami/beet-horseradish spread/spicy brown mustard on Challah. It's like the whole deli on your burger. Read more.

Maria Riabtchenko: A SF must go for breakfast. Coddled eggs and a pastry are a MUST. Favorites also include smoked salmon tarts, and their egg sandwiches. Favorite pastries are the almond croissant and bread pudding.
Sibel Akcekaya: I wish they used less bacon in savory pastries for vegetarian people
Vivian Wang: Such a beautiful space, and the salad is one of the most visually pleasing salads. Come before 11 if you want breakfast food!

Sherry Li: Sit at the bar, duh. Must haves: uni, live botan ebi, gindara, toro, shiro ebi.
Holger Lüdorf: Sit at the bar and do the sushi/sashimi Omakase. I think it now serves the best sushi in town. Also, the oyster stout is nice!
Eater: Pristine omakase is the name of the game at this tiny sushi spot, which boasts the talents of longtime local great Masaki Sasaki. Expect a Japanese-style sushi experience at Japanese-style prices.

Joanna Flamm: My favorite restaurant and rooftop bar! Lolinda is an Argentinian steakhouse and El Techo is the rooftop bar on top that serves really good apps and margs.
emma tangoren: everything is amazing, but definitely don't miss the croquetas and the bone marrow.
Noah Weiss: I can't remember which of the individual drinks were particularly good because they were all so boozy, but I know they were all very good.

Ben Mann: When picking meat and carbs, go for tilapia and couscous. Yum!
Mextaliana: Although not a "salsa joint" - they play do play a wide mix of world beats including salsa, bachata, reggae, African and more. They serve yummy Senegalese too. Worth checking out.

Hillary Lindeman: Absolutely love this place! Homemade pastas - best Italian I have had in the mission by far, definitely the best gnocchi dish in San Francisco. Save room for dessert and get the tiramisu!
Chris Messina: Great little dinner spot. Just romantic enough to be kosher for dinner with friends, but enough ambiance in case you're feeling more amorous.
Emily Pinkerton: The best latte I've had in years. Take that, Ritual!

J John: The pizza here is top-3 in San Francisco, maybe even number one (the crust is just perfect). Pasta made from scratch, great salumi appetizers, and a short rib fetucine to die for. Amazing service, A++
Eater: Since it opened, F+W has been making waves with its sophisticated pizzas and pasta, but even more impressive is that it's lived up to the hype. [Eater 38 Member] Read more.
Benjamin Roodman: Line up outside the door like a schmuck before 5:30pm in an attempt to get a table.
