Nice hotel room. The ocean view balcony watching the sunrise was awesome! You could hear the seals too. The in-room breakfast was delicious!

Beautiful place to spend the day, the coastal trail is great if you hire a bike, pretty flat and very scenic. Shops on the wharf are pretty pricey and full of touristy tat!

You have an amazing view of the bay. You will see sea lions and otters if you get a room with a view. Try for 4th floor as sound travels heavily from rooms above you.

Get the clam chowder from Old Fisherman's Grotto and coffee from Water+Leaves (They have a small outdoor patio where you can sit and look at this view)!
This wharf is adorable. Lined with great restaurants and stunning views, there's nothing to not love about it. Everyone is super friendly and the wharf is very clean.
Free Ghirardelli chocolate samples by just walking in. Free clam chowder samples at Louis Linguinis. For good coffee and great views, head down to Monterey Plaza Hotel to Cafe La Strada.
People rave about going to the scenic lookouts, and those are great, but there's no better collection of restaurants in Monterey than Cannery row. Check out The Sardine Factory or The Chart House.

Hot crab sandwich w soup is a perfect portion. The clam chowder is one of the best on the boardwalk. You can try it before walking in. Ocean views from all seating. Overall a decent place to eat.
Ask to be seated upstairs for the best view! #nokidsftw!
