Grilled salmon was excellent...
The shrimp and grits were so fresh and so flavorful. We also loved the ambience. It was so cozy and romantic. Service was on point- all of the employees seemed to be working hard yet very personable.

First off it's black owned! I ordered a slim pizza. All ingredients were fresh especially that fresh mozzarella cheese. I love that it's not a traditional round or square shape. Absolutely loved it!
Pizza was great, fresh ingredients. Enjoyed the Pream and red light special. Craft beer was great. Ambience was great and so was music!! I'll be back! Took pic after I had already eaten half!

Place is known for their biscuits and fried chicken but I got grilled catfish and turnip greens and it was absolutely slammin. You can't go wrong here with their diverse southern home style menu!
Don't believe the haters! This place is as good for breakfast as for dinner. Worth the drive. Quintessential Nashville fare if you're from out of town. Biscuits a Must!
The café was established in the early 1950’s as Lon & Anne Loveless served southern cooking to travelers on Highway 100. It once included a motel, which closed in 1985.
I agree with others the celery blue cheese soup is wonderful. I really enjoyed the gnocchi as well.
