Aarón Sánchez, Iron Chef, co-owns this restaurant. Interior is beautiful and fun. They have veggie friendly options, great chips and salsa + delicious margs.
The mole dish is excellent. And the “War of Legs” is a fun, smart way to serve up an old fashion cocktail.
Cocktails, service, and food are DELICIOUS. Great option for pre show at the Saenger.

Triple tail and duck confit are amazing

Roasted corn soup with lump crab was an amazing first course, gnudi and red snapper entrees were fresh and flavorful but the rhubarb tart won the evening competition.
Get the Cortado then sweet talk the owner into making another off menu Cortado with mole bitters. Perfection.
Espresso and chocolate board is a must try. Check it out for the experience.

Try the Filet Mignon Quesadillas and the table-side Guacamole. The freshly made Margaritas are also excellent.

Delicious pineapple cilantro margarita!
Excellently designed tiki cocktails. Lapu Lapu bowl is especially good (and a bartender favorite apparently). Chicken wings are surprisingly exquisite.
"The other Tiki bar" may have won Food & Wine's Best New Bar in the US, but L29's dream team of mixologists creates far superior cocktails that are not only drinkable but also delicious.
Get the ribs, and every cocktail.
If you drink a lot of margaritas & plan to go back, which you will cuz the margaritas are delicious, ask about the go cup option!

Once I saw Samuel L. Jackson here. I kept screaming "I want these motherfucking snakes off my motherfucking plantains!" We had a good time.
My favorite of the tacos is calypso beef.
Check in with the hostess at the door if you want to grab a seat at the bar. The cocktails here are fantastic (try their version of a margarita). Had a tasty little fried shrimp appetizer. Great music
