Lashes: The food is amazing. The black bean burgers are to die for. Try the strawberry moonshine. It's tasty and not too strong.
Mason McCoy: Enjoy the excellent menu set to the sound of live jazz quartets. Some recommendations: pickle chips, gnocchetti, pork belly and the Nutella Butterfinger ice cream.
Eater: The focus here is on the music as much as the food—both are great—making it a quintessential New Orleans experience. [Eater 38 Member]

Gabriel Gramajo: Fantastic venue, my favorite experience while visiting NOLA. Be sure to wait in line at least an hour before the concert. Real, classic, intimate, virtuous, musical experience. A must!

HISTORY: The origins of performances here go back to the start of the 1960s. There was no dance floor & no food or drinks served - the focus was just on the music. The only products sold were jazz recordings.

Wayne Surber: If it's just two or three, order the small plates: Boudin, Roasted Oysters, Boucherie, Shrimp & Eggplant Dressing #wtf, Smothered Greens, Pork Cheeks Paneed. Dessert:Butterscotch pudding.
