Great live jazz... Get the green absinthe punch instead of whatever you usually drink .. Boozy and sweet with that smooth black licorice aftertaste. Surprising how easy they go down.

This is the real thing. A place for Gotham insiders. Gold leaf ceilings and enchanting murals by Madeline author and illustrator Ludwig Bemelmans. Arrive by 8pm and take a small table near the piano.
At the only place where Bemelman’s art work is publicly displayed, Tony has a martini saying “a room like this calls for a classic.” As seen on Travel Channel’s The Layover with Anthony Bourdain.
After dinner, have a cocktail at my favorite place in Manhattan (its both opulent and modern). Highly recommend the risotto, truffle sliders, and afternoon tea. In the summer, sit on the balcony.

A rooftop bar with amaze views of the Manhattan skyline. It's new so it remains not so crowded. Very loungy, good place to chat with a friend.

Not a traditional English afternoon tea.. "finger sandwiches" in the form of duck confit and wasabi salmon crostini. Dry and lumpy scones.. disappointing :(

Breakfast is lovely and very low key (love the gfree options). Lunch and dinner are busier (saw Jessie Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family at lunch). Cocktails are surprisingly great too.

Nice vibe, classy. The mushroom gnocchi and salmon (perfectly seared) was delicious. Tuna tar tar and burrata was bland.
Vibrant and quirky art. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service was impeccable! Salmon is good. Getting to the bathroom downstairs is a journey. They have high tea!
This is a @naveen kind of place. If your cheekbones are as glorious as his, you should go here.
