Haven't been here in years and it's still as delicious as I remember. HUGE portions. Grilled octopus and Paella Valenciana are my staples but equally look forward to the bread and potato sides.

Valencia paella is large enough portion size for 2 people. I ordered my own and Mr. White ordered his own. However, the waiter brought only 1 paella to our table...and we had enough for take home

This is in Newark but it's only 10 minutes away from Belleville...I can honestly say they have the best sangria! I usually go to the bar area & always get the garlic shrimp appetizer...it's delicious!

The category for Don Pepe's is wrong - it is not an Italian restaurant - it's Portuguese. The restaurant is great and a tradition whenever I go to a Devils game or to the NJ Performing Arts Center.
Tortilla soup is one of the best I've had (spicy, thick broth, chicharron, avocado and cream) but my favorite is the chilaquiles verdes con carne, they add epazote to their green sauce —authentic! Yum

Try the enchiladas. I prefer the green ones. Oh and the hours have changed. They now close at 10:30pm.
