The Best Cheese Pizza in Newark Ever!
Of all the local, Ironbound neighborhood pizza spots this place wins for overall consistency, quality, and service (both in-house and delivery). Not really worth messing with the others.
The roasted chicken was amazing and filling. For desert, the Flan and Tres Leches was great.
The Tres Leches dessert is exquisite. A must try.
the breaded steak with sweet plantains and sauteed mushrooms were so delicious
The Paella Marinara is great. Tons of delicious seafood in it, including a full lobster.
The paella marinera here is the best I've ever had.
Everything is delicious here, seafood specially! I recommend the stuffed portuguese crab/ sapateira recheada.
Paleio has good food and awesome atmosphere. Friendly waitress and great entertainment on weekends.
A hidden gem. Best Portuguese food I have ever had. A little off the main area of restaurants, further down Ferry street but WELL WORTH IT!
Good food and great atmosphere... Weekends after 9pm it can be full and crazy... party hardy!!

having tried many Portuguese restaurants, Im hardly ever impressed but this was GREAT!. Butter was soft, waiters attentive, sangria thick & delish, dessert to salivate for MAIN DISH WAS CRAVE WORTHY
Place is nice, staff is nice as well, but the bottom line is the food isn't good at all. Save your money and go elsewhere. There's plenty of Portuguese restaurants in Newark.

This is in Newark but it's only 10 minutes away from Belleville...I can honestly say they have the best sangria! I usually go to the bar area & always get the garlic shrimp appetizer...it's delicious!
The sangria is awesome and the bartenders are always very nice.
The avocado & tomato mixed green salad & the aged Dashi tofu are to die for. Yumm

This restaurant puts a twist on seafood classics with their selection grilled prawn skewers, cod croquettes, stuffed piquillo peppers, chorizo and shrimp and garlic.
Fried milk! All the food is delicious, come hungry :)
The chorizo is a must!!
If you haven't tried this place, you MUST! The red sangria, garlic shrimp & the monk fish are just some of my favs!
Breakfast menu is nice and tastes homemade. The ginger lemonade is delish.
Food is very tasty, portions could be slightly bigger. Service was polite but communication was not good.
If you're supposed to be open on a Wednesday at 7AM, you would expect the place not to be dark with doors locked at 7:30Am

The beer is cheap. They've got Blue Moon, Sam Adams, and Yuengling.
