Jen W: The clam chowder is perfect and the ahi tuna appetizer is light and delicious. The big bar on the right is a great place to hang out with friendly bartenders and get some tips from the locals.
EArchitect: Everything was amazing. The Grand Seafood Platter at $69 didn't satiate my appetite so I ordered the signature "bag of donuts," battered clumps of lobster, crabmeat & clams deep-fried to perfection.
YMS: Delicious bag of Doughnuts try dipping into the award winning clam chowder !
Glenn Cochran: Every item we had was terrific, but I found their clam chowder, NE Cheese sampler and butterscotch bread pudding all especially great! Service was top notch as well.
Larisa Grollemond: Cool old tavern in the historic part of Newport. Try the clam chowder!
Jeiran Hasan: Sit by the fireplace in the winter. I love that this is the oldest tavern in the US. Fish was delicious, along with lobster bisque. Clam chowder isn't creamy like you would expect, more brothy.

💫Coco: Try the Clam Chowder, it's a bit lighter than Traditional New Clam Chowder and very tasty!
Jessie: Favorite restaurant when not in NYC; must get the chowder - dill, bacon, heaven.
Justin Breton: The Boom Boom Room is located in the basement. It's the best place to go on Saturday night. Line gets long after 11 p.m. Fun dancing. #newport
Mary Llorente: Great price fix menu sun-thurs $19.95..had clam chowder, grilled salmon over barley risotto with a goat cheese croquette and cranberry, then creme brulee w. cookies. Also, oysters were good.

Mike Nickerson: The freshest calamari I've had in new england! Sit on the outdoor patio on the water, order a bottle of wine, and enjoy the night.
Steven Peterson: The mural above the bar at Fathoms is called "The Birth of Clams Casino" and it is a ridiculously bizarre depictions of mermaids preparing pigs for the slaughter.
Steven Peterson: The hotel breakfast buffet is really delicious and high quality. Some room rates include free breakfast for two!
Wil S: Good location...horrible parking, hotel feels like a holiday inn but more expensive. Check out and go elsewhere.
