Great place to just look around in: beautiful local, handmade jewelry, unique clothing pieces, candles and baubles. Apparently they have wine, DJ, artist events here, too.

Favorite loft building in Oaktown
One of the coolest places in Oakland. You can check out where a lot of the burning man art and sculptures get made. The people are extremely friendly. Just holler and someone will let you in.
Go visit.
There are large machines here that will crush you. You can rubberneck as long as you stay out of the way.
Do not disturb artists with power tools in their natural habitat.

BIG sports arena, but well conceived and well equipped for concerts. Even the cheap seats will afford you decent views of the stage.
Hands down one of the best arena experiences you'll have when the Warriors are playing competitive basketball. Be prepared to get loud and stand on your feet!
