The spicy hog is fantastic. Packed with pulled pork and jalapeños, it's perfect with the smoky red hot sauce. The potatoes are worth eating as they melt in your mouth perfectly with the sandwich.

shan dong is probably my favorite restaurant in oakland. the handmade noodles are good in everything, especially the spicy chicken chow mein.
They'll make the soondubu super spicy if you ask them, a pretty decent Korean tofu soup place, with the old school community eat bench tables.
The soon is nourishing and filling. My default is mushroom, spicy. If you take #smalls, they'll bring out a special tofu soup for them along with kid-size utensils. #TinyMights

the best taco at this location is the pollo. the chile verde is fantastic but its sauciness needs to be contained in a burrito. and if you get the hongos taco, grab a fork. hella mushrooms overflow!

The lines are long, they run out of chicken but it is a success story because of the slaw -- jalapenos, cabbage and some secret ingredients. Good scones, and lemon ice. It all works.
