Every Saturday, some kids come a LARP (live action role playing.) It is the most entertaining thing you can watch on a Saturday afternoon. "I cast my spell of virginity!"
This park in the heart of the city has 2 ball diamonds, picnic areas, hiking paths, jogging trails, a swimming pool, children’s playground, events pavilion, a large open green space and a golf course.
Could use some water fountains. Found a bathroom, but it was locked 😣
Good food all around. The mushroom app was just fair,so recommend mac n cheese. Portions for main meals were large.
Worst seating arrangement ever. Rubbing elbows with other diners and wait staff butts in your face. You're packed in like sardines. Pray you can get a booth.
Save a few bucks and split an entree. The portions are quite large. You can add a small plate of stuffed mushrooms or crispy artichoke hearts to if you're still hungry!
Great atmosphere. Whether you are having a coffee and studying, buying your weekly haul of comics or enjoying their gaming spaces, this place can't be beat and they have the Eisner Award to prove it.

31-acre park was opened in 1990 on land recovered after the controversial demolition of the Jobbers Canyon Historic District. The area, filled with warehouses dating to the 1870s.
They have free doughnuts every Sunday at 9:00 in the big room!

Saturday night summer concerts are great. Bring food, wine, beer, lawn chair. Very nice setting !
If you show up on a nice day enjoy a cupcake then work it off at the park.
We love the summer concert series! It's a great dog friendly activity! And best of all The Green Spot has a tent at these shows for you to spoil your best friend w/ their yummy treats and fun toys!
Great tennis courts. Best outside downtown tennis courts. Has racquetball too + half basketball court.

Many great shop and places to eat. So glad they got the bum smell out of this part of town. Cross on Midtown people , Cross on.
They are using the new side of the Big dog park and there's no water on that side please bring your own and please clean up after your child! :-)

Watch out for the Big Mud Puddle at the lower end of the 'Large Dog' area! Expect a little transfer of mud from the "Water Dogs"!!
