Every spring/summer the rose garden is a perfect urban oasis.
Visit the Veterans Memorial on top the hill to honor those who served.
The playground is great, especially during the winter months. You don't have to worry about your kids getting muddy. Also, the sidewalk around the green space is great for kid's bike riding.
Saturday night summer concerts are great. Bring food, wine, beer, lawn chair. Very nice setting !
If you show up on a nice day enjoy a cupcake then work it off at the park.
The little grotto and tunnel area is a beautiful, family friendly place to take pictures. Children are especially interested in the mini waterfall, fountains, and the creek.
Every Saturday, some kids come a LARP (live action role playing.) It is the most entertaining thing you can watch on a Saturday afternoon. "I cast my spell of virginity!"
This park in the heart of the city has 2 ball diamonds, picnic areas, hiking paths, jogging trails, a swimming pool, children’s playground, events pavilion, a large open green space and a golf course.
Free indoor playground! (And the kids love it too) ;)
Only playground I've been to where security kicks out the big kids. Safe for the younger ones.
Gyro place in the food court is really good. Do yourself favor and get the soup:)
Cookies and cream milkshake is amazing! Also the funnel cake Sunday.
