Not very many gluten free or dairy free options but the salads are tasty, tomato soup is vegan, and you can get the sammies without bread.

Authentic spicy Szechuan food - first place in SF that reminds me of my trip to Chongqing. Numbing mapo tofu!
Mapo tofu and spicy boiled dumplings are delicious. Tingly, numbing... all the goodness. Best Szechuan food in SF.

Good, cheap, and authentic. Get the mian pi, lamb cumin bun, tofu skin and celery, and the spicy chicken dish
Qishan minced pork noodles ($9). Chewy, smooth hand-pulled noodles hides under the surface of the broth, obscured by a ruddy cap of chili oil, ground pork, scallions and fried tofu.
Fresh, hand pulled noodles are the star of the show, and the atmosphere is worthy of date night. Don't miss the Qishan Minced Pork Noodles.
Many vegan options if you ask. Tofu Kimchi and sweet potato noodles are incredible!

Stop in and say hi to Gumbo Social - you will be glad you did. The gumbo is absolutely top drawer (vegan option as well) and that shrimp po boy. Owwweeeeee.

Hard to find legit hoagies in SF, but this might be the best Italian hoagie in the Bay Area. Unique with a bit of a bougie factor, great bread and all the 🇮🇹 flavors. Also, it’s a behemoth beware.
Very eclectic wine list and overpriced, server brought out wine that was opened too long ago. Service terrible, food mediocre and too salty.
