San Diego has the best beaches!!! I highly recommend PB for it’s laid back young vibe. They also have some really cool surf shops and restaurants on the boardwalk too.

The parking lot is so bad, try to park on the street if you see a spot. But this Trader Joe's is good :) Workers are friendly. Trader Joe's brand wine is good and cheap!

Drive thru & dine-in/takeout have separate entrances which makes things a bit frustrating. 1st lot for parking, flip a U and get in line in 2nd lot, shared with car wash, for drive thru.

I can't say enough about this place. Service is impeccable. Risotto was outstanding. Beet salad and warm mussels are a must have. The setting on the patio is memory maker especially the sea wall.

Large, wide beach with nice sand. Great place to put in for a paddle board session around Vacation Island.
There isn’t a lot of parking in the lot and it’s limited to 20 mins. Service is fast anyway, so you still shouldn’t have a problem finding something even if it’s busy.

If you are going to the playground park opt for street parking - it's much closer than the actual parking lot.

Ice cream sandwich was amazing.The white choc chip macadamia nut cookie melts in your mouth. I'm a SD native now living in North Carolina, we come home to visit twice a year, will be back. Fabulous.
