Inexpensive - what Hotel du Nord lacks it luxury it makes up for 10 times in charm. Trés sympa staff & patrons and free bicycles for touring the city. Do make friends with cute reception-dog Pluto.

Hidden gem. Tiny space in one of the oldest restaurants in Paris. Unpretentious, marvelous food. Don’t miss the escargots or boeuf bourguignon. Owners are the chef/server duo and are charming.
Confit de canard was succulent. Sirloin beef pepper sauce was really good!!
Nice specialty coffee, hipster decor (white tiles, exposed bulbs, rustic wooden crates of fruit). Space for about 15 to sit inside, maybe another 15 outside when the weather is nice.

Fantastic French Restaurant. Very large portions so share and share the Potato Cake, monster Escargot, and truly awesome Chicken. The wine list is deep and expensive.

We had lunch at Septime. Very cosy atmosphere and great meals. Simply decide which type of food you want to eat (sea food, meat etc) and enjoy. Strongly recommended.
Currently my favourite restaurant in Paris. Bertrand, only 29 years old, produces the most exquisite dishes from starter to dessert. Cool decor and fantastic service. Expect a very affordable menu.
