Mike Kalen: Very close to airport. Nice 'casitas' style resort. Try the bar menu and live music night (Thursday's) and the pool and spa are very, very nice.
Travel + Leisure: Ask the hotel’s romance director to fulfill special requests, such as chocolate-covered strawberries and Champagne in your room or a special dinner at the restaurant. Read more.
Justin Eats: Inherently Phoenix, a true local classic. The historic Royal Palms is easily one of the most stimulating, intimate resort experiences in town.

Jace Goodmiller: Come here whenever I can. The coffee is great and they have good stuff to eat as well. Delicious breakfast sandwiches. The quality of Starbucks without the long lines.
Leah Starr: The best part about this place is their secluded back patio. Never underestimate the power of a water feature. Plus the coffee and chicken curry are delicious.
Alice Daer: Go to Fair Trade Cafe for the exquisitely moist banana bread, packed with yummy walnuts and a sweet crust on top.

Gabrielle Marshall: Both the Aperolcello and the Ginger-lemonade specialties were perfect airy complements to the snack plate. These spring drinks are worth the higher price, and the $6 snack plate definitely helps out!
Tony Arranaga: Be sure to visit the bathrooms...and, no, that's not code. They're just super cool!
Leah Starr: A 1947 men's department store turned chic downtown eatery. Their summer coolers are refreshing and the right amount of sweet. Be sure to step into the old elevator shaft.

David LaSpaluto: California salad, add chicken; balsamic dressing - great choice; very fresh. Takes a little longer than pizza but worth it. But every pizza I've had here is great too (a rotating selection)
Chris Canalia: The gluten-free crust is really good. And the price is pretty comparable to other GF pizzas. The Gorgonzola pear pizza is very good. The fresh thyme really makes the pizza.
Andrew C: Get the Berkeley vegan pizza but ditch the fake meat crumbles and replace with artichoke hearts.
