Raised their rates to pay for the renovations going on. Bar can be skimpy on drinks but the music is really good. The entire place is a great time just a little shady

A nice setup for blues and Burlesque. Feels like a classic Speakeasy.
Nice venue with 3 rooms and the upstairs. Many bars to serve you. Good dress code with a good crowd. Convenient free parking in the Strip District. Saturdays with DJ Nugget are insane on the floor.

Love how they converted the church into a concert venue. The shows I have seen here have been awesome!
Bring a flask. The drinks are way overpriced and under poured. I wished I would have brought pennies for a tip...learned my lesson.
I will miss this place! Altar Bar got sold and the building will be used as a church once again. (BOOO!) I've worked tons of shows here and will never forget all the bands and this unique music venue.
