The stained glass ceiling was painted over during WWII and only recently rediscovered.
During WWII, the stained glass in the barrel ceiling was covered over with tar to protect from potential bombing. It was recently restored - score an amazing table under this piece of history!

The absolute best sandwhich shop in the burgh. The chicken pesto sandwich is by far my favorite, but the Reuben is fantastic as well.
