Get the blueberry sour cream crumble. The blueberries are local. The sour cream gives it a tartness and the little crumbles are bits of delicious texture. This is some good ice cream.
It's worth cominv to Portland to savour the veggir food at Green Elepant: coconut soup, masala, pineapple fried rice are all excellent.

Excellent gelato. Friendly and helpful staff that let you try anything and everything. Recommend the strawberry balsamic or dark chocolate caramel sea salt. Wild Maine Blueberry also very good.

I just had the best French Toast of my life here. Add some fresh fruit and the sausage (which is also absolutely amazing) and you'll be happy.

The cajun scramble was great. Get the rice and beans along with the blueberry cornbread. There is a hot sauce on the wall called Alimony (berry based hot sauce) which makes the cornbread even better!
Everything we had was excellent! Jalapeño cornbread, biscuit, swamp omelette, home fries, grits, banana pancakes....
It really does feel (and taste) like New Orleans. I'm not sure there is a more satisfying breakfast spot in all of Portland. Try the Cajun Scramble and add a blueberry pancake if you have room.
My top 3 fav's...Blueberry, Bavarian or molasses glazed. Always delicious!
