My faves: calamari and carnitas tacos, Bryan's Bowl, tamale plate (check for board for today's choices), the chips and guacamole, the simple salad. They also usually offer a yummy homemade soup.
The sangria is delicious, the habanero sauce spicy and yum, and the carnitas and camaronés pretty damn good. I'm a happy austin expat
Tortas are unbelievable and the carnitas were insanely good. If you're veg, then try the pinto beans and jalapeño torta. Yum.
Excellent carnitas torta stuffed with layers of tender pork, cotija, avocado, cabbage and pickled onions.
Incredible Tortas. Too often "improvement" on time-tested foods by way of better ingredients and flare fails miserably. Guero is an exception. Get the carnitas with cotija cheese and a fried egg. Wow.

Great food! Their homemade chips are wonderful and definitely try the guacamole. They also have a special Tuesday night happy hour.
Chorizo. Pollo. Carne asada. Carnitas. It's all good. Get a taco size to try it if you are worried about jumping into a burrito. Fantastic food. Very nice friendly staff.
We really didn't like the Mole here - it's a way different take on a usually great sauce (sweet instead of a more savory Mole). Their tacos, however, were great. I ordered the al pastor and carnitas.

The Pinot Noir Risotto with pork carnitas, balsamic reduction - absolutely amazing. Taro Chips are a nice starter. Finish it off with the fab flourless cake. Wonderful staff too. I'll be back!

The best tacos 🌮 that I’ve had here. Carnitas are amazing, chorizo is amazing, tortillas are amazing. Stay away though. You probably wouldn’t like it.
Six tacos for $12 is a good deal, but for tacos this good it's a ridiculous deal. Tortillas are the best I've found in PDX.

Best tacos in Portland. Having moved here from LA, I was having a hard time finding legit tacos. The Al Pastor is great. Chorizo has some nice kick. Try the Tacos Dorados (crunchy tacos with chicken.)

Carnitas & al pastor tacos are my go-to, but you can't lose with any of the tacos. Each one is served on two fluffy handmade corn tortillas.

The carne asada fries are tasty! Same as a refreshing ceviche tostada, or the fajita chicken burrito. Everything is made from scratch, it will make your taste buds go crazy!!
Their homemade salsa is la bomba - packed with cilantro and amor.

Carnitas tacos are fabulous! Brisket are good as well, tho a little on the strong side. Also recommend trying the queso dip.

Whole30 meal idea: Salad - lettuce, carnitas, guacamole, and tomato salsa only. Add green tomatillo salsa for an extra kick.

The side of rice and beans is HUGE. Be prepared! Shrimp tacos and quesadillas are awesome. Very reasonable prices for great food.
