Get you some papaya salad (som tum) Lao style. Best & most authentic in town! Careful, their spicy is for the experienced only. Buyer beware.

It's a small Asian grocer (pricier than others around)... But their deli has pretty tasty Thai dishes like curry, pad Thai, papaya salad.
There is no veggie pho here but the green papaya salad is great

All their other Vietnamese dishes are very authentic as well. If you don't want to make the trek out there, they have a more upscale restaurant called Silk in the Pearl.
Great food/great value. I recommend the green papaya salad or pork belly & fried green beans. Plus, you can't beat a shot + a beer for $7. Get the sticky rice dessert. Try to sit in the tuk tuk booth.

I've had just about everything on the lunch menu, it's all great but the pad Thai is sometimes too sweet. Staff is real friendly.
I recommend the Papaya Salad, the Green Curry Beef, the Mussmun Curry, and the Duck Red Curry! (Share amongst your friends.) Beware, if it says the food is spicy, it means it!

Solid green papaya salad
Bit too much "Brooklyn" attitude from the staff, but the food is quite good. Go between 4p - 7p and enjoy the Happy Hour menu. $2 plates. Try a bunch if things, but don't miss the shrimp skewers.

The late night happy hour is great but the bar is cozy so get there early for a seat and have a glass of wine or cocktail before it gets packed.
