Carnitas tacos are fabulous! Brisket are good as well, tho a little on the strong side. Also recommend trying the queso dip.

Black bean queso is the best! All the happy hour food is very good! Goat cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon and a strawberry salad are great choices.
Not that it's a surprise, but the calamari is a hard pass. Tough and tastes of nothing but vague fishiness. Get the Black Bean Queso or Street Tacos instead, both are delicious.
Booths high and romantic. Wait if time. Also bar seats by fireplace. Pepper tortilla chips & ask for habanero sauce to mix w/salsa to dip. Amazing flavors! Go-tos: sprouts, wings and spicy enchiladas

Tacos are great as are the chips. I’m in love with the barbacoa taco. No, really I am.
Get the queso fundido w/ chorizo - just be sure to have them drain the meat before adding it.
Every thing is very good here, I've ate just about everything on the menu. If you're looking for some thing special just ask the staff as they are very friendly.

Whole30 meal idea: Salad - lettuce, carnitas, guacamole, and tomato salsa only. Add green tomatillo salsa for an extra kick.
Avoid the guacamole upgrade if the short gal with two-toned hair is serving. They don't call her "Light-hand McGee" because she's Irish.
