Shianling W.: Tripe, steak, risotto dishes
Sherry Li: Spicy tripe stew is a must have! Ribeye is perfect.
Ryan Durham: The lamb shoulder was some of the best Lamb I have ever had - cooked to perfection! And the veggies were great too!
Enrique Gutiérrez Arzate: Best tripe tacos I had in the region (I think the only ones). Beware of the lady attending (inside in the Taqueria), she's mean so don't be surprised. $1.50 each taco
Victor Nguyen-Long: Best tacos in Portland. Having moved here from LA, I was having a hard time finding legit tacos. The Al Pastor is great. Chorizo has some nice kick. Try the Tacos Dorados (crunchy tacos with chicken.)
Eater: Go for a half-dozen tacos of the lengua, al pastor, and chorizo; they're addictive and will cost you under $10. [Eater 38 Member]

Andrea B (cyberetto): Try the Bánh Xèo, crispy fine crepe, stuffed with shrimp, pork, bean sprouts, rolling it up in fresh lettuce leaves with fresh mint. Read more.
GNTLMN: All their other Vietnamese dishes are very authentic as well. If you don't want to make the trek out there, they have a more upscale restaurant called Silk in the Pearl.
Alexandra Lane: Number 51 is the best, but definitely add an appetizer of salad rolls. They are so delicious with the peanut sauce!

Colleen Showalter: Love being at the counter and enjoying all the action. Love the bone marrow, desserts. Love it.
Rahul Sen: Dessert is a close call between the espresso chocolate cake or the basil blueberry sorbet. Berry close call!
Eater: St. Jack is cultivating a well-deserved reputation as an incubator for up-and-coming talent. Sit back and enjoy a few whiskey cocktails, rich escargot gratin and roasted bone marrow. [Eater 38 Member] Read more.

Daren R: Love this spot. It's a win whether you come with a group and order a varied menu or post at the bar and vibe and sip on a Fight Kat. Dope staff all the way around as well.
Eater: Bartender Evan Zimmerman is behind the menu. The eight-item cocktail list features unexpected flavors like black truffle (in the "Lights Out") and campari seeped with cedar (in the "Pan-Am").
MLO: Late night reservations have the added perk of being able to take home a gratis loaf of bread from Roman Candle Bakery...just in case you aren't already full.
FRAN SIRIPHAN: spicy broth, extra order of handmade dumplings, shrimp balls, lamb and baby cuttlefish. do it now.
Shrub: The food & service are wonderful. I love this place.
Dan Clarizio: Get the dumplings, they are a great value! Also, if you're not sure of what to get soup-wise, the special for two makes it an easy choice and you get a lot with it
Leids: The food here is brilliant. Had the combination vermicelli and it was amazing! Very popular eatery and good value.
Sereita Cobbs: Bit too much "Brooklyn" attitude from the staff, but the food is quite good. Go between 4p - 7p and enjoy the Happy Hour menu. $2 plates. Try a bunch if things, but don't miss the shrimp skewers.
Andrea Ihara: Great stop for vegetarians. Veggie pho with veggie broth - fresh rolls with tofu. Would have preferred more veg - less noodle - but a solid pick for inexpensive quick meal downtown

Dim Sum Restaurant · 18 tips and reviews
C Mong: This is my favorite dimsum place in the whole world. Everything is really good but absolutely do not pass up the egg custard baked rolls they bring around on trays. They will change your life.
Eater: This dim sum and seafood house is the cheapest ticket to Hong Kong. They’ve got classic and hard-to-find Chinese seafood preparations that usually involve batter and hot oil. [Eater 38 Member]
Diana Lien: Dimsum any day of the week. Weekends are busy, but you're usually seated quickly. Great selection!
