I like everything about this place, but especially the grilled cheese option for the tacos. The mashed potato flautas were also excellent.

First place I found in this neighborhood that isn't deliberately (?) downbeat. Charming atmosphere reminiscent of the best of country life, delicious food at 1/3rd less than Manhattan plate-fees.
Cash only !!! With that out the way , the menu changes all the time so what you eat today may not be here in two months. Either way everything is delicious. They have live music on the weekends.
Chef Viko is the best! Steak specials are always good and don't forget to try their dessert cakes, yum!
Order their churrasco - it’s seasoned well, perfectly cooked, tender & juicy! Comes served with rice&beans. It also comes with chimichurri & pickled onions in tiny plantain “cups”!
Avoid the empanadas. They were frozen and $3.50 each. The Cuban sandwich was great. The plants outside are artificial. A romantic atmosphere!

Love the first one & this one is even sexier. The windows are huge for a perfect view of the water looking at NYC. The menu is simple but good. Prices are fair have a different happy hour each day.

Do your tastebuds a favor and get the "chicken enchilada de la casa". The sauce is smooth and creamy the chicken so tender, the cilantro isn't over powering, just a good hint of it.
The food was delicious and amazing service and at a very very reasonable price. If im in New York again i will visit this restaurant again.
