if you like the shrimp tacos, ask for the "old school shrimp tacos" they have chipotle crema on them and they're amazing. they'll make them special if you ask!

The Bolognese. So good. It's goat cheese crema gets me every time. You can get a half portion for lunch AND dinner. Something heavier? the 4 cheese ravioli also knocks it out of the park every time.

A wonderful new hotel. It features a pool table, indoor pool, and a gym. Breakfast with made to order omelets, and a great staff. Rooms have full refrigerators, full kitchen Great beds & sheets too.
Monty at the bar is wonderful, he goes out of his way to help all of the guests. He assisted me with my luggage when I checked in.
The best Starbucks in Raleigh, hands down. More outlets than Helios, so it's a great place to bring your laptop.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Raleigh! Get the shredded beef on whatever you get if you have the option. The chile relleno is UNBELIEVABLE! The regular flan w/xtra nuts on it is a perfect finish!

Their bar "Tasting Menu" includes generous portions and is worth coming early to eat and drink! Between 3 & 7 PM weekdays, every item on that special menu is only $3 & the bar crowd is always lively.

If you live in the neighborhood the Mill is your go to place. A menu that can't miss with nightly specials. Love the ribs and twice baked potatoes. Carolina Burger with waffle fries is a staple too.
This is an affordable place to go any time - fun to watch a hockey game or sit out on the desk on a nice evening. Wednesday night is always the Prime Rib special - really good!
