The salmon chowder is good, as are the crab cake appetizers...the rest of the food was so-so. The drinks are good too, but the wait can be quite long.

Great Hotel. We stay here often when in LA. Baleen is amazing place to eat. Service is sometimes slow at front desk but they have always took care of us and made any issue we had right.

Lousy customer service. For a "boutique" hotel I would have expected much more. Front desk is clueless, rooms are basic, and walls thin. For my money I would stay elsewhere.

Pub in front, sophisticated casual dining in back. Great upscale dating place to meet. Parking is in Plaza valet or meter it. Can walk down the block from here along the beach trails.

I parked free. Service was wonderful all the staff were friendly and fun. If you have time walk on the walking path to the pier. It's absolutely beautiful.

Come on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday to see the sparkly, hot body Samba dancers put on a show once an hour. Join a line dance!
