Fast and friendly service. Country fried steak, mac and cheese & black hole pancakes (pancakes with Oreos) are killer. Open late & cheap!
The steak philly is pretty good here. Love the fried green pickles that come with most meals. Good burgers & shakes here too.

Country fried steak ranked up there as one of the best in my experience. Huge meal w/ 2 eggs & a sausage gravy biscuit. Their home fries tasted like board walk fries. Simply great. Friendly staff.
Get the chocolate chip pancakes! Skip the French Toast. The kids' meals are ridiculously giant. Great for leftovers! Love the atmosphere here too :)
Love the squash .... Crab cake sandwich was great, love that their kitchen is open till 12am.

Apps were great - try the collard roll or shrimp & grits! Entrees were fine. If I wasn't so spoiled I'd probably think the food was awesome - but there are many better options in RVA.
Great burgers and fries, especially on Tuesday which is half-priced burger night! Also has the best chicken salad there is. Friendly atmosphere. Great live music on weekends.
