John and Julie are seriously the best bartenders in Sac. Super chill and friendly, great atmosphere.
Homeland Stout and Thunderbeast IPA are the two standouts here.
The bartenders are very nice and knowledgeable. The beers are good and they are changing all the time. New and delicious beer always on tap.

First time at H&L! Had the Almanac IPA! Very tasty! Appetizers are good! Had the pickles and olives and the sausages. A lot of food. P&O had green beans, Brussels sprouts and other. Yum!
