Fish fry is just "ok", try a church fish fry (like St.Matt's over on the West Side); it's just as good & half the price. And they do serve beer.

Yes the brunch is amazing on the weekends at the Highland locale. Good sake bloody's too! Try both! Saturday is better to avoid church rush next door.

This park is beautiful but always crowded when it's nice outside. There is so much to do between the conservatory, zoo, trails, lake etc.
Voted Best Park by City Pages in 2012! With a year-round conservatory, Japenese gardens, athletic fields, swimming pools, a zip-line, and a golf course amongst others; It's no wonder this park wins.

Great place to visit. Beautiful park, not too big, doesn't require all day to see the animals and enjoy a zoo visit. Conservatory building is gorgeous!

Best coffee shop baked goods around. Just had the chocolate cherry scone and it was amazing!
Everything in the bakery case is amazing but the bacon gruyere scones might take the cake. Oh, and they also make delicious cakes.
Great little cafe! They have a limited menu of dinner items as well as incredible cupcakes and cookies. There is a little art gallery in the adjacent space with selections from local artists.
