This mansion was built in 1870 by Joseph Forepaugh. He sold it to Civil War veteran, General John Henry Hammond. It was purchased in 1983 and renovated to it's former glory.

Everything in the bakery case is amazing but the bacon gruyere scones might take the cake. Oh, and they also make delicious cakes.
Great little cafe! They have a limited menu of dinner items as well as incredible cupcakes and cookies. There is a little art gallery in the adjacent space with selections from local artists.
For just a few weeks in the late summer, they have delicately fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta and fresh mozzarella as a special appetizer. If they have 'em, get 'em.
