This is Rubio's Numero Uno. But, don't let the looks fool you. This is the epic center of the fish taco explosion in San Diego and then the US. For that reason alone, it makes my top ten list.
Iceberg lettuce on a taco is a bad idea
They make all their food home made which is great! Quality bar food! Their to go window lunch menu is great and cheap and their sliders for happy hour are out of this world!

Salmon omelette and tiramisu pancake. You won't regret it. Everything's organic, even their homemade hot sauce (cost extra though).
The fruit plate is awesome! It's not all melon like most places. Ours was kiwi, banana, apple, pear, blueberries, pineapple and watermelon.

Ordered a cheese plate and the sourdough con pane. That alone was plenty of food! Super tasty and good sized portions. My friends ordered the seafood stew and I got the pork cheeks. Dessert was great!
