This is Rubio's Numero Uno. But, don't let the looks fool you. This is the epic center of the fish taco explosion in San Diego and then the US. For that reason alone, it makes my top ten list.
Iceberg lettuce on a taco is a bad idea
The French Bavarian creme filling for a cake is so good. And then get chocolate shavings to cover the top and sides of the cake! I always get rave reviews when I get my birthday cakes from here.

Everything here is good, definitely try the breakfast egg sandwiches and oatmeal. Any of the coffees and teas. Give the coffee specials, like the cherry mochas and the summer coffees.
