I had lunch there last week. Ambience, loved it. Cozy and rustic. Service, great. Food, out of this world. We split the squash blossoms, Brussels and lasagne. I'm still dreaming about them!!!
Any Orrin Swift wine they have by the bottle - The Prisoner, Papillon, Saldo or Palermo. Pair that with the Forage Mushroom pizza and Caprese Salad. Delicious!
Get the lamb ragu with homemade pasta. Fantastically rustic yet delicately executed dish. Desserts are meh.

Great restaurant N Little Italy & probably the best italian restaurant N san diego,Their potato gnocchi with Ai Formagi creamy cheese sauce is extremely good! Penne Arabbiatta is delicious as well!
They have a tasty brunch menu. Try the Pollo Fritto, which is their take on a country fried steak (but with chicken).

I haven't ordered yet and I love this place. The sizeable selection of beers come in tall glasses. Get the create-your-own burgers, which have a million possibilities. Considerate and friendly service

Ask Tommy to make you something creative at the bar. And definitely check out the wine list. The beef carpaccio is surprisingly light and a good palate cleanser. And get the ravioli!
