Best Indian food in sf. Skip the chicken tikka Masala and go straight for the butter chicken - made of chicken thigh and much more tender. Saag paneer is good to.
We loved this place, cool and modern Indian food. We had the Makai salad, Paneer Makhani (hot) and the Fish Moilee. Can’t wait to be back and try the rest of the dishes. Staff was amazing.

Good but pricey. Most food tasted authentic with a good enough twist and level up. Veer away from the polichattu, it didn’t taste legit, you need a whole fish to get it right anyway
Rosemary naan is just so good and the chicken tikka masala is top notch. If you dare, order their feast. It's huge but so good

House curry dosa is so yum & so filling
Get the paper masala dosa. Its more authentic than what you can get in India.
Eat everything. But to be properly South Indian, you should start with sambar vada; follow it up with a paper masala dosa; and finally, close with a hot sweet cup of chai.
Chicken and tandoori fish are the best
Good food and good price. I love the dhal, Keema with basmati rice and naan and don't forget to get lasi mango. You can also request for a moderate spicy if you can't handle spicy food.

Indian home food is actually very simple and Kasa is one of the few places that gets it right. Authentic chutneys, great chai. Dont miss the fennel and sugar mouth freshener.

They have a separate Vegan menu - their hella vegan burrito (tofu & samosa) with a wheat tortilla and brown rice is fantastic. Pair this with the ginger & mint lemonade and you'll be happy.
