The best bookstore for kids in a 20 mile radius, hands down. Charlotte is the best and loves kids so much. Story time is a huge treat for the whole community.

Friendly staff, neighbourhood feel, great coffee, great food (breakfast and evening too).
Check the specials board before ordering (it's on the right side wall, rather hidden). I missed it and then saw what I wanted instead too late!
Great place for young kids birthday parties. Enclosed kid only area. Nice playground. Picnic benches. And restrooms.
Dog friendly, kid friendly, sun friendly.
If you have a small dog go to the north side of the park. Bigger dogs go to the south. I don't know where people w/o dogs go. :-)
The chocolate is to die for, + caramel is delicious.

Hand pulled noodles, smashed garlic cucumber, the monster chicken dish, dumplings, lamb burger, cumin lamb noodles. If you wink the right way, you might be able to turn this place BYOB.
Great pizza. Love the addition - more than doubled the number of seats. Too bad none of those seats are high chairs! Not exactly kid friendly in that sense.
Solid. I mean, it's pizza that is handcrafted so it is delicious. Also they deliver to several neighborhood locations and are reasonably priced. 👍🍕

Always something new, and so much fun for kids
The fish of fish n chips is beautiful! Flaky white, moist, with light delicate crispy seasoned batter. Good choice from the kids menu because if they don't finish it you won't mind helping them.
