Maribeth Doran: Love the gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce... and anything Mario recommends is always good (food and wine). After dinner, check out the Purple Onion.
Chris Curtis: The daily specials are almost always great, but the spaghetti con polpette (meatballs) are amazing!
Team Slobbr: Delicious food and they have a very dog-friendly, dog friendly patio as well.
Serious Eats: If you're here on a Saturday, try the Beet-za, a bread-y, satisfying combination of sweet roasted heirloom beets and pungent Gorgonzola cheese along with cooked-down arugula and parsley. Read more.
Christine Wu: Such a lovely Saturday morning hangout. Their cheddar scones are wonderful.
Karl Nieberding: One of the best slices in the city for only $2.50

Jason Castellani: A wonderful dinner on the SF bay. Vegan friendly, expensive, and fancy, but good food.

Cristina Ruiz: Fig with Gorgonzola & walnut wrapped in prosciutto. Oh yes.
James Yu: Great chill wine bar with a great atmosphere. Get a nice bottle of vino and chat with friends.
megan: If 'Cheers' had been set in SF, this would have been the bar. Classic local's spot w/ better-than-you'd-expect food. Opt for a whole bottle and just try not to order the fries, I dare you.

Alan Lightfeldt: Their wedge salad is incredible - super fresh tasting tomatoes and roasted beets with crumbled Gorgonzola. Desserts are tasty as well, with their chocolate coming from TCHO just across the street.
heat: Right across the street from the original Heat offices, this place has history! This is a great place for 5-7 friends to catch up. Their specialty is RIBS! Don’t be afraid, they’re delicious.

DJ: Surprisingly good place for lunch. Roasted chicken over saffron rice is one of my favorites. Also has a great alcohol selection
Demir Sel: Great gourmet food made in house. Always busy during office lunch hours due to the close proximity of UCSF. Johnny (owner) is down to earth, caring, and potentially will play a song on his keyboard.
A G: Some of the best sandwiches have been from this funny, little corner store. There's wi-fi, and say hey to David. He's great!
